PRASHANT BALDEV – FOUNDER/ACADEMIC DIRECTOR/PRINCIPAL FACULTY

After 23 years of teaching mathematics, in 2004, he realized the need for his own “professional evolution” and came to the United States to fulfill his dream of doing research in the field of mathematics education. At the Robert B. Davis Institute for Learning (RBDIL), Graduate School of Education at Rutgers University, New Jersey, he was involved in various research projects in the field of mathematics education. In 2008, he completed his Ed.D. (Doctor of Education) Program. His dissertation thesis titled “Urban Students Developing Algebraic Ideas in an Informal After-School Program” helped him understand the needs of students outside of school. This understanding coupled with the fact that there was a genuine and a dire need for tutoring services in the United States encouraged him to establish Scholar Tutorials in 2006 in New Jersey.

In 2018, after teaching for 12 years at Scholar Tutorials in the United States, Dr. B has developed the highly effective PACER PROGRAM, which can be customized for each individual student. The PACER PROGRAM helps the student to reach his or her maximum potential and to achieve academic success.
